Dear Friends,

HARMONY DAY FAMILY FESTIVAL

Palmerston’s annual Harmony Day Family Festival is on again!  Please bring the whole family and join us on Saturday 1st April between 3 – 9pm at the Gray Football Stadium to celebrate Harmony Day.

The day will include:

– Cultural performances
– Family activities
– Information and cultural learning experiences
– Jumping castles and face painters
– Food and drinks
– Football matches

DASSAN will have a stall inside the club rooms. We will be providing information on how we assist people seeking asylum in Darwin and Palmerston as well as offshore and in mainland detention centres. Come and find us and have a chat.

PALM SUNDAY PEACE RALLY

An invitation to walk as one, under many banners, for refugees, justice and the environment.

This is a collaboration between DASSAN, CAPSA, Uniting Church, Unions NT, Don’t Frack the Territory and the Environment Centre NT.

We will meet at the south end and walk to the north end of Esplanade Park, Darwin at 5pm, with some speakers sharing at the end of our walk. Please bring a picnic to enjoy after the march.

This march will be a powerful and inclusive way for people of all backgrounds to come together in Darwin for a fairer, healthier and more compassionate future. DASSAN looks forward to seeing all of our supporters there.

From,

The DASSAN Team
